CVNT Hike

Cedar Valley Nature Trail(CVNT) is a rail trail running from Hiawatha(north of Cedar Rapids) to Waterloo. On days with snowfall it becomes(although they are banned) a snowmobile trail!

So to mix up the workouts a bit, I planned a snow hike for this morning. Got underway around 930, and finished 130. A bit of snow....maybe 2 inches on the average? As it warmed, the snow softened and the walking became a spot more difficult! Once again was fortunate enough to encounter no other hikers.
